I've tried others... this is the best!

I have been using my Sedu Ionic Ceramic Professional Flat Iron for several months now, and didn't want to write a review until I knew the product was a quality product that worked well. So here goes:

First off, my hair. I have VERY thick and coarse frizzy hair, so I have tried many flat irons before (ceramic and not) and this is THE BEST for my hair. Heats up very quickly and has a light indicator to let you know when it's completely heated up.

With other flat irons, I need to run the iron down the same strip of hair a couple of times, but not with the Sedu. The iron features an adjustable temperature setting which is good for days when my hair isn't too bad and I don't need the hottest setting. Also, the results are so amazing, I can actually straighten my hair the night before, sleep on it, and its still perfect in the morning (with the use of Biosilk).

After I wash and condition my hair, I usually just let it air dry but if I'm in a rush, I will go ahead and blow dry my hair. **MAKE SURE YOU USE FLAT IRONS ON COMPLETELY DRY HAIR!! EVEN IF IT SAYS IT CAN BE USED ON WET HAIR, DON'T DO IT. THE WATER ON YOUR HAIR WILL ACTUALLY BOIL YOUR HAIR SHAFT (WATER BOILS AT 100 degrees) AND CAN CAUSE DAMAGE, EVEN IF ITS A CERAMIC IRON.** Then I run some Biosilk through my hair to protect it fron the iron. All together, for my thick below the shoulder length hair, it only takes me about 15 minutes to straighten my hair.

The only negative thing about the iron, like mentioned in previous reviews, is that the outside of the iron gets really hot and you can't use both hands on the iron because you can't touch the end of the Sedu, like most other irons.

I work in an office with many other girls who straighten their hair, and almost every one of them has asked what I do because my hair comes out straigther then theirs'. Already two of the other girls have tried my Sedu and have bought their own.

Will definately be buying another Sedu Ionic Ceramic Professional Flat Iron when I need it. Highly recommended.
